You're spot on with this thread, and I agree that regardless of timing, you would still have caught shit over it.

Mainly because the hypocrites don't like being called out on their hypocrisy.

I lost my little brother to suicide, and the pain sucks. As such I feel for the family and L's other friends. Talked to him a day or so before he did it, and he will be missed.

I must be one hardcore motherfucker then.

I dont feel sorry for people who commit suicide over selfish reasons. I can understand the terminal ill and such.

Ive had close friends do it and even though i think of them and miss their friendship. I still call them stupid motherfuckers for taking their own life.

ok, everyone can take this how they want. I HAVE BEEN THERE !!
having a daughter diagnosed at age 16 with a form of cancer , and the 1st surgery going entirely wrong, the surgeon comes to you and tells you what has happened (no death, jsut a failed surgery), 1st thought, jump out the window (no joke, that was my thougt because my little girls chance at a real life was now gone), but no sooner than that happened i thought about her needing to be taken care of and the thought was completely gone (and her disease was hereditary, and it came from me)....now 21years old and just gone thru her 15th surgery i can truely say sometimes it just sucks, but for her its really what she knows.....had someone a reason for suicide it could be her, but she is very strong and willing to beat this no matter what......i recently had the same surgery (3 years now) mine went well and all is good, but i have guilt just the same for mine going right and hers not. People make out of the situation what they will, some have strenght, some are weak.
My sons best friend was killed in a car accident last year, has been his best friend for years and lived with us on and off often (bad home life), i was saddend by this news and as many cried for the loss, later found out his was driving drunk and got himself killed and nearly his passenger , my anger was thru the roof and my respect for him was lost.
One of my close friends last month committed suicide because he found out he had diabetes, left 2 teenage girls at home without a dad because he was to weak to comfront the situation he could have beaten.
Suicide is just a poor excuse to give up , i dont really care about the situation and there will be no one who can tell me otherwise, i have lived it, more than most will ever imagine.
