It also amuses me when people accuse this site of being "too brutal." It has become a little more streamlined and vicious since the move from the lethargic old pre-MU version last year, but it still doesn't even remotely compare to the way things were pre-2004. In those days, there would be 4 or 5 threads like this running at once, spilling over onto or from dfws, dfwls1, and TS, with the big players swinging verbal baseball bats at each other for the grandstands with every single post. This site isn't quite a little league game where everyone gets a trophy, but it isn't the Thunderdome of it's former, either. So pardon me if I get a good long chuckle out of people lamenting how mean things are around here.
