I bought a sixer last week for the old lady since she won't drink Stones....

It was decent, actually not a bad taste at all. As much as I drink there is no way in hell I could drink ONLY that, would make me sick of the taste after a few I am sure.

I like it as 'yard beer'- one to drink after doing yard work since it is refreshing. I couldn't drink it any other time though.

This... Ruby red is delicious for your first beer after you've been busting your ass outside all day... But I can only drink a couple before switching to something else.

hate to break it to ya, but they kinda do. Their bock doesn't even taste like a bock really.

and to the post above, Rahr is by far better than Shiner stuff. Their beer actually has flavor, and they make more kinds of beers than they actually sell, as well, that are awesome. You only get to try them at the brewery.

Except rahr rebottles the same beer as a different one. I quit drinking them after that.
