How do you guys shop for your significant other for Xmas? Do you set a limit or a range? How do you beat the old, I spent more than her, or she spent more than me?

We buy a gift that is for both of us. This year is a new bedroom TV and previously it's been vacations and such. Last year, I spent a bit more on him than he spent on me...so this year he will spend more on me than I did him.Comment

We usually just set a limit that we each cant go over. It keeps things fairly fair, we do the same for our anniversary. Birthdays are a different ball game though, it all just depends on what we want at the time haha.Comment

My birthday is also in December and this year she is buying me an Icon 4.5" lift for the F250 w/ some Nitto Trails 295/65/20's. We set a limit every year and my wife goes over the limit every year. I struggle to come close to the limit, unless I buy jewelry or something.
We'll probably spend very little on each other this year since we're busy outfitting a new nursery, buying carseats, a stroller, etc. Shit gets expensive quick!!!Comment
