I love leather with my kids. I dont let them eat/drink in the car unless we are on a trip but even then cloth would suck! They spill a drink and you have a stain, with leather you can just wipe it right up.

Leather SUCKS in the summer and winter also if you dont have heated seats.

I had a safety first brand seat saver under the kid's car seats and boosters. It didn't affect the safety of the seat and the leather didn't take a hit.

Found a place in Fort Worth to do it...

Same Place a buddy got his newer Silverado Done and it Looks better than the OEM leather in my opinion.

Some of the responses in here are pretty funny.

And thanks all for the opinions.

How old is the vehicle? GM replaces the covers for free one time depending on the age. Or used to before BHO took over, I got out before then

              07.

But i am switching from cloth to leather out of want and not need. The factory cloth is fine, she just would like leather and I like the idea myself.

Where are you taking it? I need to get my suburban seats re done, because as someone stated before, GM leather sux.

Just FYI, my back seat is in perfect condition, even using JRs car seat for the last 3 years, and 2 teenage boys. Front seats are a different story. Mines a 99 with 15OK miles on it. I think you'll like the leather.

                    Southside Trim..

Came recomended by more than a few people.

Did my buddy's silverado and it is impressive. Looks better than the OEM stuff in the Tahoe I referenced earlier.

They are also who Classic Chevy farms their leather work out to apparently.

Price was about standard, not a super cheap deal or anything but on par so I am okay with it.

I have had leather in a few vehicles before and have always preffered it to cloth even in the heat/cold.

We have the pads with our vehicles - all leather interiors. Our leather looks new and our kids spill shit all the time.
