And BJ explained one of my favourite drinks, well a variant of it. I would typically have either a snakebite or a black and tan. Which are all layered drinks with either dark/light, dark/cider, or a cider and other beer. I strongly suggest trying it.

Yes, all of these are very good. Guiness, Bass, Strongbow and Woodchuck all mix very well for me.

Hey now, I didn't say there was anything wrong with it! Embrace it, live it, love it. Lol. I just can't do thick beers personally. It seems like they aren't as cold due to the thickness, and I don't like a frothy beer either. Seems pointless to me, as I'm usually full after 1-2 beers like Guiness, long before I catch a buzz.

Actually it may be at a different temperature. I had a thermodynamics professor explain that him as well as many others base the serving temperature on specific gravity of the beer. But that's the only person I've heard explain that.

I really don't care for Guiness a whole lot. It's good, but you're right about how filling it is. I haven't had one in probably 7 years. I like crafts such as Maredsous, Spaten Oktoberfest and Optimator. Dark and flavorful, but not overbearing. Good alc content volume also, so even though they fill you up, it is the equivalent of drinking 2-3 shitty beers.
