I wish. I have a $50 gift card that has been burning a hole in my pocket.

Thought about it since it's so close to the house, but then I saw the sign that said cabelas shuttle...actually it said suttle, but anyways I thought if they have a shuttle it's gonna be way to damn busy. I expect serious traffic problems for me getting home when in n out opens too.

We've been waiting, but think we'll wait a few weeks, let the crowd die down a little. Need some fishing stuff.

I want to but it's smaller than the one down the street from me and I'm there 1-2 times a week. They will have some great specials. wait a week and go to the bargain cave and get the stuff even cheaper.

I like going to Cabela's and Bass Pro to look around and yes sometimes they have some ok deals but 98% of the time Academy will have better deals.
Academy has really stepped up with their H2o line of lures and rods also.
                    Great products and good prices

Academy this year compared to a year or two ago seem like 2 different stores to me. I had about written them off as a store I'd shop at.

I met a chick at the dog park who works there.... People are camping out trying to win one of those 100 Chevy trucks or 100 Bass boats

Yeah they have really stepped up the last year and half. I have compaired prices at all 3 places and Academy has always been better.
I go though a lot of Brush hogs and Senkos and they are about 1 cheaper per bag than the others. I recently started buying and using their H2o crank baits and top waters and have been satisfied with them.

My dad got to go yesterday by invitation only. He bought a 40 pound bag of corn for 3.99 a bag. Limit is only 25 bags per person. At walmart it is 6 or 7 bucks for a 40 pound bag. He said yesterday was the day to buy a lot of stuff at half price.
