I didn't even think about that. Like said above, folks would spend more on their extra day off, stimulating businesses.

I run three 12 hour days and one short day. I love it. Plenty of time to get things done at work and a lot of spare time for all my hobbies.

I'm inspired to tell my boss that I'm working 4x10's from now on.

I used to work 3 12's one week and 4 the next. Loved it. So much free time to get shit done.

I did the same at National Semiconductor. Best schedule I ever had.

I'd take 4x10s if it was an option, and would probably prefer to take weds off. That way you never work more than two days in a row, and you get a bunch of fridays off for holidays anyway.

I work 4 10's with a paid 30m lunch. 6-4 is awesome! Leaves plenty of opportunity for OT. I'd live in here if they let me.

4x10's for sure. Gas savings and having a 3 day weekend.

I would do the 4x10, like everyone said you'll have a lot of free time.

8-5 Mon - Fri gets OLD! Given the opportunity to work 4x10's would just be amazing to me.

40 hours a week is weak

Work 7 x 12s, 16 weeks on 3 off. That is were the fun is. 2.88 weeks (20.40 days) to go till I get some free time.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

3 day weekend every weekend rocks.

when I work 40's 4-10's are awesome.... I just eat my lunch and still work(desk job).

Most of the time though I work 50-60's... 5-12's can drain you mentally.
