That's where the real money is.

The web store idea is dumb. I have no use for them, and spiders build their own.

I've never drank an energy drink. Never will either.

                  nope.

I used to drink a red bull and eat a snickers before a hockey game, but red bull tastes like sweet tarts and ginger ale.

I'm not a big fan of coffee so I'll drink an energy drink every once in a while. I honestly don't think that right now is a very good time to start an energy drink business. Lots of heavy players. The only way it MIGHT be successful is if he can get some type of sport, most likely a non-team sport to sponsor it.

You'd be much better off opening a wine store. There are plenty of obscure wines that aren't carried by anyone. The mark up is insane. You also wouldn't be selling to bros, you are much more likely to sell to country club cougars in tennis skirts.

The problem is energy drinks are most popular with the 18-25 year olds. That demographic for the most part do not have any money.

                          Good or bad business plan?
Put them around IT/Technology offices. When I'm on a 24-48 shift, it's the only thing that keeps me coherent and several of my colleagues will drink 2-3 red bulls a day.

                          Make them take credit card.

Try not to carry just one brand, apparently some people are picky on which ones are which and that they like best.

Include water as an option to buy out of the machine. Myself and a lot of others, we'll drink the stuff but try to hydrate too. Being up really like times is bad for hydration, then with the energy/caffeine/sugar drink on top of it.

My neighbor is into small businesses like this with obscure health drinks and such. None of which I have seen profit and turn into anything. Almost all of them I have never even heard of. He has been doing this for about 5 years now too.
