Makes you wonder after looking at those pics what happened to all those cannons & Iron Clad Ships. Just seeing those two men standing on that one Iron Clad I would think something of that ship would be left.

I know when I go see my parents in Huntsville, AL. I drive right through Vicksburg & they have a old Iron Clad ship on display.

The monitor is still around, just at the bottom of the sea.

Cannons are still around. Cemetery markers, battlefields, museums, etc. Like all war materials a lot was scrapped and reused.
