Local Fishing??

well i havent been fishing for crappie but seems like most everything else has spawned already....at least where i have been fishing. there are thick schools of about 1/2" babies all over the top of the water....im sure alot of it is bait fish but even the bigger fish seem to have moved away from the banks recently

ive got a little secret spot in arlington......few know about it and if you have a small jon boat (mines a 10ft flat bottom) you can land some nice size catfish and bass.....shore fishing is good for crappie and decent size bass.

there is even a big ass Japanese Koi in the pond that you see every once in a while

yesterday just a couple....we caught about 10 bass and 1 crappie.....crappie was a little over a pound and all the bass were around this size or bigger except one that was a small mouth

We used to take a little 8ft bass raider on marine creek with just trolling motors. If you have a full day get up early and go check out Clear Lake or Black Creek Lake in the LBJ Grasslands north of Decature. Both are small and usually have some good bass fishing.

Marine Creek behind TCC off of 820, nice long shoreline to fish and we used to catch fish there a few years ago.

x2...I've got a couple nice small mouth Bass from there.
