Well, for me, it was something I always wanted to do and I thought it was my best way to make a decent contribution to society all while making a living... then I realized it sucked. My brother was a sheriff out in Georgia (Hancock county) and he has many similar stories. I may get upset about an officer or two, but you wont see me talking badly about the group as a whole, because I've heard the stories about him walking up on crashes caused by a drunk driver, and seeing children the same age as his smeared across the pavement. Ive got mad respect for dealing with some of the things you do, and keeping out of the crazy house.
