The fishing sucked.
The wind sucked.
The sand sucked.
The winds was gusting fro 30-40 mph and it was blowing sand EVERYWHERE! We had a tarp blocking the kitchen, but sand kept getting in everything.
The wind was also blowing the bait back into the shore and even using 10 ounce pancake weights would not work. We had a Zodiak and a kayak to take the weights/bait out, but it would not stay out. The seaweed was freaking HORRIBLE! It was hanging up the lines, and was a total PITA.
Out of 10 guys there for 2 days, we only managed 2 heard heads, and 2 red drums.
The only saving grace for the trip was the company.
One of the guys went out to waist deep water to try to get a good cast, and ended up getting bit by a 3 1/2' bull shark. The hand you see in the pic is keeping pressure on the second bite that was bleeding pretty badly.
On Sunday, we came back to a camp demolished by the wind.
