Please explain how so. Those gigawatts of electricity are not appearing from said fairy dust. The solar energy absorbed from one playing card sized device does not equal the energy needed for a normal household for a day. Energy has to be created out of thin air somewhere in that equation for it to work.

Yeah, you might be right with funding something from some Indian based on some fairy-tale science that totally goes against anything discovered in the last 300 years.
Good luck with that.

StevoOriginally posted by stevo View PostRead what I quoted again. One leaf per house for every house on the planet, that includes much more than just houses in developing countries.
I'm pretty sure I didn't misread that.
StevoOriginally posted by stevo View PostForgive me if I refer to Einstein when it comes to matter being created or destroyed. Small bits of information placed on a silicon chip do not equate mass amounts of energy being generated out of thin air and water.

the energy is already there, its not being created out of thin air. All the "leaf" is doing is seperating the hydrogen from the oxygen using a process similar to photosynthesis, the resulting gases are then stored in a fuel cell and in turn burned for energy. A gallon of water DOES store enough hydrogen to support the claim made, the issue has always been the difficulty and amount of energy needed to seperated the hydrogen from the oxygen..

Gawd damn, don't be fucking up my threads. Can't you just be happy that someone is exploring other avenues of energy production. If its a bust, its a bust. Hopefully, someone else can pick up the torch and improve upon it. Talking shit from the start only makes you look like an asshole. Its too bad we can't run our homes on people bitchassness.
