Dont' know yet, but I'm kind of afraid to turn on my AC to find out....

Last house I had in TX was in Round Rock and at 2000sqft it was around $400/mo, built in '97.

I hope efficiency is no bullshit...

3615 sq ft in The Colony (built in 2001) = avg $325 in the summer. If you really care I have graphs with actual consumption by month for electric and gas. I can't upload them due to some weird tiny attachment quota.

Ok sorry to confuse some of you. I should have just said $400 a month for 2 ac units one upstairs one downstairs during the summer. I did lol at the $4000 for a few summers. Oh the smart assery!

I looked up the prices houses are selling for around me and its depressing.
Nick (detailer) has a bad ass projector too. One I wouldn't mind having, but I think I would have to mortgage the casa to buy it.

Ahh shit so my assumption was right that you were using a 3 month summer instead of 4.

The assumption that he was paying $1200 a month during the summer? No, still wrong.

                          I'm a hair over 3k with a pool and the most I've ever seen was ~ $500.

The wife and I are starting to get our house ready to sell in the near future (LOL I know) and maybe start looking at something bigger but I cant help but think how bad the electric bills are.

I grew up in a ~4000 sqft house and our electric bills in the summer could approach $900, but that's running 3 large AC units in a house built in the '60's.
