Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

If you trade using hindsight as a judge you will always feel like shit. I have managed to knock down 18% this year and I cost myself 10% more with just two stupid transactions. One an options buy and another a sale of a stock I held for years. Oh well.

Speaking of turds that might be turning back into gold bricks, Jodi did you see what DRYS did for earnings this week? There may be some signs of life there soon, I think they did a secondary offering sometime a while back and are diluted compared to what they were in the glory days.

Yeah, DRYS is one of those tricky ones...lots of off-balance sheet leverage (LOC, short term stuff, and they're one of the only shippers that doesn't hedge BDI rates) and completely a global macro play, but hell you know that. Fuck, it'll pop on any kinda macro strength though b/c of it. By the way, I asked a buddy on the Financials team...we don't currently have coverage of BAC.

I haven't even tried to decipher the balance sheet, all I did is put pennies in there and now I'm hoping the shipping rates get really hot and they make a ton of money.

Thanks for trying on BAC. I'm just reading as much about it as I can.

LOL... China bought 18% of GM.

              So lets recap...

              The US bails out GM
The US doesnt have enough money so it borrows it from China
              China buys 18% of GM
The money from China that bought into the IPO goes to the US gov
The US gov sends the money from the IPO straight back to China for interest in the BILLIONS of dollars we have borrowed

End result... China owns 18% of GM for free.

Not a bad end for DRYS.
