You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Who cares if you make money, you don't have to like them to take profits!

<-- not buying any GM however.

Hell, with the big upswing, may be a good time to short them!

I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying a boatload of Ford stock when it was down around $2 per share. I've never bought stock and didn't know how to get started, so I just let it go. I was planning to invest $10k - I could've bought a new truck with the profits. Dammit.

Fuck yes it is. I'm still kicking myself for selling my Baidu shares I bought 2 years ago for $112 (sold at $140). They went to $700, did a 10 for 1 split and are around $108 now...

I was in @ 4.18 and sold in April when it went over 14. Although it went higher since then, I've made some good moves that most wouldn't agree with.

Buying stock is such a crap shoot, but with something like that, it's not a bad idea to jump in. Just register with an online account like Scottrade, Fidelity, etc.

I wish I put my bonus I got in April into Ford, I would have almost doubled my money, but I paid off a CC and the IRS, so it wasn't a total loss.

                      Ford hasn't doubled since April

It was an estimate, I think it's more like 50%. I still missed the boat on that one though.

I'm thinking it's only up a couple of bucks since April.

                                From the AP:

After being priced at $33 a share in the IPO, the stock opened at $35. It ended the day at $34.19, a gain of 3.6 percent, after trading as high as $35.99 in the first few minutes of trading. Almost 457 million GM shares traded, about one tenth of all trading of New York Stock Exchange shares.
