Otherwise known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The common cause of sudden cardiac death...he is lucky he didnt die as a youngster playing sports...when the HR gets high enough the outflow tract from the left ventricle (blood to rest of body) gets occluded and this causes bloodflow to the brain and coronary arteries to stop...this usually end in ventricular fibrillation and death. Oh, this is a genetic disorder and can be passed to his children.

Luckily he doesn't have kids. Haven't heard yet how his surgery is going.Originally posted by talismanI wonder if there will be a new character that specializes in bjj and passive agressive comebacks?Originally posted by AdamLXIf there was, I wouldn't pick it because it would probably just keep leaving the game and then coming back like nothing happened.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyBecause fuck you, that's whyOriginally posted by 80coupenice dick, Idrivea4bangerOriginally posted by Rick Modena......and idrivea4banger is a real person.Originally posted by JesterMan ive always wanted to smoke a bowl with you. Sorry...the muscle that separates the two ventricles (called septum) grows too large because of a genetic condition and when the left ventricle contracts to send blood to the brain, heart and rest of the body, this muscle thickening partially blocks the aortic outflow. At higher heart rates, the outflow is completely blocked. This leads to obvious problems...these people are at risk for developing electrical abnormalities that cause the heart to stop pumping as well...this also leads to obvious problems. Sometimes medications are used to try to prevent the outflow occlusion, but many patients will require surgery to cut some of the septal muscle to decrease the amount of occlusion. These patients are still at risk for electrical abnormalities so an AICD (automated implantable cardioverter defibrillator) is placed that will shock the heart directly if the person experiences one of these electrical events. Better?
