We do bonded titles for people. We charge $100-$150 + 2% of the estimated value of the vehicle in most cases. This gets you the paper work to file for a title. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in getting the paper work started or you can go to www.grizzlyautotitle.com in the Q&A section to see what you will need.

I kinda wondered what would have happened if there was a claim against it. Would I have been paid the bonded amount?
I sell bonds.... a lot of agents do. Just depends on the agency

The applicant needs to provide a copy of the letter from the state setting bond, copy of the completed statement of fact sheet and evidence of ownership – proper bill of sale or original title with no lien.

Rate is $15.00 per thousand with $100.00 minimum

I walked. After reading about some potential future issues (like when I move out of Texas) I got my deposit back and made like Jesse Owens in Vicksburg, MS and got the fuck out!
