Somewhat....although I'm actually in Crisis Management for a living.

They are both good looking cars and I'd be torn too. But I say go for the swap. With your's gone, my 69 fastback will be one of the nice ones again.

Variety is the spice of life... trade her off Jason.

also, as Beavis on Pass time always says "Cash Is Good"

I guess in the long run those times made me strive harder to do better as I got older.

To be honest, the main reason I'm doing this deal is b/c it's the smarter option IMO. I love that Mustang, but this will allow me to diversify the higher investment I have in it into a less expensive muscle car and to finishing out my other resto project (as opposed to pulling more money out of the bank to finish the other one).

Of course I'm also trying to do right by a good friend too.
No explanation was necessary. It sounds like we've led pretty much a parallel life. I didn't have jack shit as a kid, it made me work for everything I have.

I was actually just pulling your leg.

Don't screw yourself to try to appease a friend.

The other consideration is that you already have a project car to complete, that I would assume will attain the same show queen status as the Mustang in terms of not wanting to drive it hard. Trade for the camaro and beat on her like the whore on the side. Throw just enough money at her to keep her wanting more, and finish your "trophy wife."

I absolutely love the mustang (other than the stripe), and if it were your only car I'd call you crazy for trading it, but in your situation the trade makes complete sense. The split bumper is a good looking mule, whip her often to keep her in check.

This sounds like a pretty bitchin' setup to me.

Well...looks like I'll be headed out in about an hour or so. We're meeting up at my buddies place in Canton, which is about halfway for both of us. I uncovered it and pulled it out of the garage. got ready to hookup the trailer and get loaded....then just decided to hell with all that...I'm driving that bitch down there instead. Looks like it's going to be a nice day, it'll be a good cruise down there.

...and hopefully also a good cruise back.

I have always loved the split-bumper Camaro's. I know you will do the right thing. lol

I wouldn't even hesitate. I'd have traded for that Camaro without the LS engine and "5 figures" of cash. I'd feel guilty about robbing a friend like that!
