(this is actually the car that Pat, of Pat's auto sales had for his son back about 10 years ago). Anyway, if that comes up, which I don't see him in the financial situation to keep it..I'll let you know.

Love the color combo... but "to me" it looks more like it belongs as a rocker stripe!?

As for the trade, I just don't think I could give up the pony - and this Camaro is my second fave of all!

Thanks Dave - that stripe is actually just a 69' Mach stripe that I had made without the gold backing. Just like this.....

A little more info...the "new" owner is also the "old" owner. I turned down an all cash offer that was about equal to this one, but I'm trying to be a good friend on this deal...and I do like that Camaro.

If they are as nice a they look in pics I wouldn't think there is more than 5K differenece in both cars. Unless you know something I don't know I would be taking the deal before he changes his mind. Sell the Camaro and add the cash to build the next one even more killer.
More like a $2500 motor (it's a stock 08' 6.0 w/L92's on it), and a lot you don't know about my car....I know you haven't seen it in-person....but you know my buddy McMill, just ask him. It's a fair deal for both sides...not a smoking deal for either of us, but something we both (as friends) think is fair. Put it this way....he paid $20K for the Camaro at the start of the year and I just turned down a $35K cash offer ~2 weeks ago.

Even though I am a GM guy and yes I loved that Camaro I gotta say you have a Sweet looking Stang.

Follow your heart.....I dont think you can go wrong with either one .

Man, I really honestly like them both (Chevy and Ford) but I just have WAY more experience with GM's when we're talking old iron. It's kind of funny really b/c for old cars I'm most experiences with Chevy and Buick, but for newer cars I'm more experiences with Fords. A plus for this Camaro is that one of the first cars I ever restored was a 70.5 RS that I owned for several years from my late teens into my 20's.....so I've been around the block with one before.

          I'm all fucked up!

I'm kinda the same way. I grew up in a family of ford guys, and the old meechanic that tought me most of what I know was the definition of a gm guy. I kinda know both, but tend to lean twards ford.

Oh, and the more I think about it, the more I think you should dump your fastback. It'll put my car up one step higher if yours isn't around

              Nice looking Camaro + 6.0/T56 + nice suspensioin=money

If the Camaro is something you could drive and not over worry about messing it up that's the way I would go. HOwever that being said I drive the piss out of all my vehicles and have never owned one as nice as either of the two. Good luck man they are both beautiful cars, I don't think you could make a bad decision.

No offense, but I'd trade straight... Lol I'm a huge split bumper fan and 69/70 stangs are meh unless it says Boss on it...

Not real sure why this is really a hard decision unless that was ur first Stang or somethin...

Each to their own....I actually prefer 69-70 myself, more-so than 67-68 matter of fact....I know they are generally the most desireable, but to me those are the 69' Camaro of the Ford world.

Rreemo, I dig that Camaro, but your Mustang is one of my all time favs. I am sure this is hard for you, hell, I am having a hard time deciding and its not mine.

Isn't life rough? The decisions we have to make just to struggle through life!
I really feel sorry for your woes.................. NOT!

You need to be banned. A REAL DFWM baller would just buy the Camaro and have both!

                        J/K

I'm envious of both of those cars. I LOVE old muscle, whether it be Ford, GM, or Mopar.

Just know that I haven't been handed anything....I've worked my ass off to get to where I am in life, actually grew up pretty poor....I can remember what it felt like to be hungry with nothing to eat (literally) when I was a kid. I guess in the long run those times made me strive harder to do better as I got older.

To be honest, the main reason I'm doing this deal is b/c it's the smarter option IMO. I love that Mustang, but this will allow me to diversify the higher investment I have in it into a less expensive muscle car and to finishing out my other resto project (as opposed to pulling more money out of the bank to finish the other one).

Of course I'm also trying to do right by a good friend too.

Are you a numbers guy? That's almost exactly what went through my head when I made my original recommendation and pretty much anything I do is numbers driven.
