He was selling cams that were ground at Bullet Cams but they were his specs if I'm not mistaken. He probably didn't get the memo that a new site was created.

This is pretty much standard protocol for all custom cam designers. If I'm not mistaken Jay Allen has Comp Cams grind his; Ed and Buddy have companies that grind theirs.

      Just to clarify...

Yes. I have ordered two cams from Ed and both were Comp Cams ground to his specs. Shaun did the cam in my 410W and it came in a Bullet Cam box.

very few folks actually know what a lobe master is, and i doubt anybody on here has ever designed one.

Bullet racing has some very nice lobe masters I use a lot in my LSx customers cars.

to elaborate on this, he was mainly called out on who he was and couldnt back up his "race engine" building experience and took off.

I could see that happening. Especially on DFWstangs. I read a thread about Jay Allen selling people off the shelf cams and getting called out on it too. He then came up with some kind of cancer and disappeared. Who knows???? He was always a dick in my book anyways.

for the record, when i talked about going solid, he told me he wouldnt sell it to me unless he knew i had a 1.55 springs and retainers, a beefier set of rockers and a rocker girdle and solid lifters and fatter pushrods (i forgot what specs but he gave me specs on everything).. and I already have most of that stuff and he knew it. He was always really informative to me and i appreciate the knowledge he shared with me. Not that i know everything or whatever, but he certainly did warn me of how harsh the solid would be on my valvetrain and all that stuff. Not arguing or fighting, just throwin it out there.

Pretty sure most of the cam grinders in the US dont need to outsource their customer service department to internet warriors. All the info above is a phone call away from the dudes that grind the cams

He basically did the same thing for me. Sometimes it was a lot more information than I asked for or even cared to hear. He gave me spring specs and set up heights along with push rod suggestions. I took from my conversations with him that he was all about going with more than enough to make sure it didn't break. My car is far from fast but the camshaft did exactly as I asked. I tend to me a little on the conservative side so I didn't run a really loose convertor or a whole lot of gear so I could keep the rpms under 7000 rpms. It did just that and ran a 10.50 in the process.
