Anyone live in Midloathian?

I've got a potential job lead in Corsicana and that seems about halfway since my wife works in Fort Worth. The property seems decently price and the schools look good on paper. Anyone live there that can give me some feedback.

My wife grew up there, my sister and her family just moved there, and my in laws live there. Good town with pretty good schools. Not overly crowded. Quiet, safe community.

My father in law builds custom homes in Midlothian if you are looking to build.

I lived there most of grade school before moving to Waxahachie. Both towns are nice, but Waxahachie is getting a little crowded for me to want to move back.

I hate going back and seeing how different it is. It went from cool/unique/small town to "Every Town, USA." I still have a lot of family there and my wife laughs at me because I bitch every time we go there.

You can't go faster than 5 mph anywhere in town now.

i liked mansfield! but now that walnut creek and Debbie lane turned in to a highway it fucking sucks!

Mansfield or Midlothian would be good spots to look.

Lived in Midlothian for about 3 years now. It is nice and quiet out here but yet close enough to anything you want. I agree that Waxahachie is getting too big for its britches these days. My folks live there and that is also our second option if we need something that Midlothian does not have. Its not too terrible if you know the back roads into Waxahachie and stay away from the 77/287 intersection. All n all we are pretty happy here. Not much congestion just a bunch of retard high school kids with diesel trucks and stacks.
