Who's rented a cabin? Where? Trying to decide where to rent a cabin I can't decide either in OK or TX. Wanting to get out of the city during easter weekend.

I rented one in Oklahoma for valentines day at beavers Bend, and loved it. Just search for beavers bend or broken now cabin rentals. It was only 290/night or a huge "luxury" cabin.

I've heard good things about Broken Bow as well. I've never been myself though.

Years ago I remember staying at a cabin at Possum Kingdom. I didn't make any of the arrangements, but I do remember it being pretty nice.

            THERE, dammit!

We've done this, too and LOVED it, however, we used a cabin outside of the grounds.

Mach1 and his wife love the Broken Bow area in OK. I'm sure he will chime in at some point. They take several trips a year up there and always have good things to say about it.

Well, we almost book a place in broken bow lake. Had a visit to the dam dentist and its going to cost 1comma000 dolla's for extracts. ( Insert no dental insurance ) so trip is out. Dam you junk food.

Check out Canyon Lake. It's in the Hill Country in TX. We rented a...not so much a cabin, but a big ass Lake House for my friends bachelor party for $600 for 2 days and 2 nights and it was great. Minus the partying blah blah blah, the scenery was amazing. A damn near crytal clear lake surrounded by gorgeous green hills.

We're staying in Broken Bow now through this weekend! This is our first visit up here, and I have to say that it's pretty damn nice! We're staying in one of these...

Gonna wake up in the morning and take my daughter fishing for her first time. There is one downside to Oklahoma, the damn fishing licenses are $35.00 for a damn 6 day non-resident license! That's the cheapest one they have too!! Hell the damn annual licenses are $55! Friggin rip off I tell ya!
Besides the tornado warnings a little to the northwest right now, it's been friggin great!
