We're staying in Broken Bow now through this weekend! This is our first visit up here, and I have to say that it's pretty damn nice! We're staying in one of these...

Gonna wake up in the morning and take my daughter fishing for her first time. There is one downside to Oklahoma, the damn fishing licenses are $35.00 for a damn 6 day non-resident license! That's the cheapest one they have too!! Hell the damn annual licenses are $55! Friggin rip off I tell ya!
Besides the tornado warnings a little to the northwest right now, it's been friggin great!

We're staying on Texoma this weekend.12.50 for a license to fish Texoma.

I rented one in Oklahoma for valentines day at beavers Bend, and loved it. Just search for beavers bend or broken now cabin rentals. It was only 290/night or a huge "luxury" cabin.

That figures! I wonder if they regulate by area or by park? We fished this morning and caught 2 damn fish. So much for that $35 license! The water is still damn cold up here everywhere so I wonder if that's got em all jacked up.

I am thinking about renting out a cabin but not 100% sure where...

Paluksi River Bend Cabins. They are all single bed, loft style cabins in the hill country. Each one is "themed" differently, but they all have a few things in common:

- VERY secluded....even from the other cabins.
- great views.
- each cabin has a hot tub.
- NO TV or internet
- just a few steps from the river for hiking, fishing, etc.

Last time I was there was over a weekend. We maybe spent $500 after lodging, food, and fuel.

beavers bend for sure... we have done this a few years in a row and always stay at the Dancing Rabbit cabin...

it has 2 rooms upstairs, a master on the main floor and another living room and bedroom downstairs. a foos ball table, hot tub, the whole package and it was like 350ish a night

honestly don't know.. we decided to go fishing so we went to walmart and bought a bunch of stuff and then went to the water fished about 5 mins then went back to the cabin to drink more haha.. this was around 10p or so.

the first time we went we took my Dad's pontoon boat and put it in the a slip. Most of the time was spent drinking, tubing and floating in the lake... didn't care much about fishing.. just got a wild hair
