LOL sounds like someone needs to actually do defensive driving. Damn man I drive an average 75 - 80 on the highway just about everywhere I go, how in the hell do you get that many tickets?

I actually don't... I get warnings 9/10 of the time.

but when you're doing 102 in a 50, your only option is my lawyer...

I average 90-105 on the highway. Thankfully I've only had to use him once in the past few years, but his card is always in my back pocket. $500 = not on my record!

a clean record = "I'm going to issue you a warning today sir"

      it's like credit...

it actually happens more than you think, we get people in here for warrants that say they got an attorney, i guess with all the cases that the attorneys get they might let one or two get passed them

You are getting pulled over in lazy towns then. The one I work for wouldn't be so easy. Our judge will do deffered ect. But if there isn't a good excuse for the speeding then you are paying it. Alot of judges are just lazy and don't want to actually work is the problem.

I had a female attorney who was dispatched by a bigger law firm I had paid to have what little of a record I had expunged. She showed up 30 minutes late in a pair of jeans. She was smoking hot, which is probably why the bailiff only mentioned to her once, loudly, that she was dressed inappropriately to address the court.

She was able to file it outside the court room and my record went bye bye...but really? Late and dressed like she was going out with the girls after my hearing?

                      $1000 well spent I guess.

I guess if it is over a certain speed it may disqualify you from taking the above but beyond that I don't waste the money on them anymore. I miss the days when you had a real chance of the cops not showing up for court lol
When was getting a complete dismissal not slim to none? You always have to pay court costs + fine, and in some cases, surcharges.

My only thoughts are if you had a CDL. Most attorneys will FTA their client, then have the city dismiss the speeding offense and play with the FTA in the system for a while. Then either getting the FTA dismissed or a minimal fine without anyone having to do probationary requirments.

Guess I am showing my age but Texas was not always on a point system (surcharges) and it was easy to get tickets dismissed. They never showed up from say GP and Arlington in county court so it got dismissed.
