  • Gotta give credit where it is due...

Greenbullit is the man when it comes to getting shit done.

I asked Paul to give me a hand getting a few steps of my 69 project done for me. We talked out what needed to be done, he gave me a fair price, and I drove my car to him to work some magic. He installed my T3550, clutch cable conversion along with pedals, new master cyl, cut the brackets and and cleaned up the 8.8 housing, got the perches welded on, installed the rear brakes, and got everything done 100%.

There was a lot of guess work that we had to do, and even with the best planning, there was a bunch of unknowns that we were dealing with. Paul wasn't the first person/shop that I had talked to about doing it, but I got the feeling that if something went wrong, I was going to have all his help making it work and getting it done right.

It took a bit longer than we expected, delays on my end as well as parts, etc. He let me know every step of the way what was his status was. I knew that I wouldn't have an easy time with the rear end install, and it would take me LOTS of time to get done what he did. I had our first kiddo on the way, and have been spending my free time racing in LeMons. He worked on making things happen for me, even walked the wrecking yard a couple of times to find parts in order to stick to our agreed price. I was completely OK with paying extra to have some custom parts made, but Paul found OEM Ford components that worked great.

He told me that he would be ready to send it home this Saturday. I got a call at 10:45 Friday night that he was trying to find a parts store open so we could make that goal. Once a trip over to Phil's Muffler (also top notch, BTW) and I was ready to take her home.

I got to test drive it and bang some gears this weekend. I couldn't be happier. Remember, you can have quick, cheap or good, and you can pick two, and you don't get what you don't pay for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul to anyone.

I've traded with Paul and he's as honest a person about everything as you could find. Pictures?

Hah, I remember bangin' gears in the 66 around Matt's neighborhood with you having stars in your eyes over the 5 speed. You'll have to return the favor so I can feel a classic with the 8.8 in it.

Paul is a good guy, and I'm certainly not surprised he did great, fair priced work for you.

Paul is about as stand up a guy as you will find. He is absolutely the only person that will work on our car anymore. Congrats on the car DJ, I'm jealous.

Where is he located? I just can't get motivated with my Galaxie. I have thought about just taking it to someone to fix all the little crap just so I can drive it reliably. I have always done my own work and have a hard time bringing myself to finding a shop I can trust.
