If your family is in DFW, you're in a totally different situation. Live it up, and enjoy.

I am livin' it up, I love San Diego, but I do wish I had my friends to enjoy it with.
Yeah got my friends but trying to branch out some.

Do you not have some good friends there by now? (that's not to sound mean btw)

Just saying, you are an outgoing person.

Do you have a stang or anything you mod? I'm living at my friend's house and the garage is always open if you need a spot to work on something.

I've never lived alone, but after backing out on a contract on a house I needed a place to crash and ended up staying with my parents for about a year, and that's after living on my own with roommates for about 7 years... man that was tough. Pretty much after work (work from home), I was OUT of the house trying to find something to do.

Okay, I really have nothing to add to your thread, lol, but i'm in your neck of the woods if you're looking for a place to kick it at!
        Sounds good man!

Right now just doing the daily driver Kia. But I'm getting antsy again with wanting another fun car, the Cobra I had made me a bit bitter with used sports cars. But that was then with no real place to work on it at too.

        Ever goto big shots?

I am an outgoing person, but I work alot (at home), so the opportunity to get out is rare. I don't have a problem going to a bar alone, but I like to drink and hangovers suck, so I don't. That limits options to meet people. I've never shyed away from a conversation, but just haven't found my groove.

Go with exisiting friends and meet new friends. Take Brien up on his offer, life in general alone sucks, but living alone is awesome.

Ahh I get your drift and yeah I agree with the hangovers.

First 2 nights here I have been out, but refused to get drunk, not worth it.

Invite me out there one day, been once and LOVED it.

It's sad, but i'm nearly burned out with bars. I don't really enjoy how I feel the next day, my wallet is lighter, and I probably risked driving home.

I'm with Aaron, it's kind of hard to meet people when you work from home, but at the same time, do I really want to meet women at the bar?

We need to find new stuff to do! lolz

Until this last year I always had roomates since moving out of my parents. After living by myself for a little while now I don't know if I could go back though. Not having to pick up after other people, worry about people not paying their portion of bills, eating food you bought, or having dumbasses over that you don't like. It's heaven. You can do as you please, and if anything gets messed up you know it was your own fault so you don't mind fixing the problem. I don't really have to worry about the lonely part of living alone though. I'm 25 and have friends in and out quite a bit, so it's still nice to get some time to myself when I am alone. Once you are settled in, and start getting used to it, you will most likely preffer living on your own. I know I sure do.

Btw I live in NRH right down the street from sparks as well. It seems like we could get a pretty good sized group in there from the responses so far.

Man not to just agree in general but I'm the same way.

Now there are days where I WANT to goto a bar, but there are times when friends want to go and I'm like well I could use a beer but don't want to be around that smoke.

Drinking, I only do on the weekends, some weekends I pass.

And to sound gay, yeah I would rather meet a girl at the park when I ride my bike or at a grocery store, not a bar, but dunno.
