No help here. The leagues we've been in he's been able to use big barrels. He swung a demarini vendetta, a worth Lithium, and an Easton Stealth Speed last year. All big barrel bats

for some reason they said no and only 2.25 idk why.

My son was 8 during spring ball and 9 during fall ball this past season. His bat was a 27" 17oz, and the other two were 18/18s. He's a short, small kid though. The bats I posted above are all hot bats, and he did well with them. Check and see if they make a small barrel variation.

It's probably an age thing. I'd think they get more strict the older the kids are.
