  • Does this happen often?? (Local PD inside)

I ran across this on the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's website and I had a WTF moment before laughing. Do ya'll really have a lot of calls for this type of thing? The fact they actually posted it was a little weird to me.

I had a member riding out with me a couple of months ago when we got a call from a lady saying her dog drug human remains to her home.

When I got there it was obvious it was a dog spine/pelvis, but just to play CYA, we called the Medical Examiner and texted a pic to him. He in turn showed it to the doc who determined the spine was not human.

We also had a call about a bone yesterday, but I don't know how it turned out. Crime Scene took photos, and the ME took it to the lab.
