Online Background Checks

Does anybody here use a company to do online criminal history, background, and or credit history reports?

Google search says there are tons of companies out there, looking to see if anybody has experience (good or bad) with one or maybe even works for a company that does them?

www.tlo.com is a new one that I use, but I don't know how accurate it is yet. I started using it about a month ago and like it though. They are offering it for free on a trial basis right now, but they make you jump through a few hoops before they open your account. One of the other ones I use is www.westlaw.com, but it's a pay service that isn't cheap.
