Sometimes I hate ebay

Well the guy is selling the car now. After he received the car he started emailing me with all these bogus problems of transmission not shifting, leaking everywhere, paint problems etc.

I asked him a few questions using my wife's ebay name to try and validate the negative feedback he left me stating the transmission was busted. He replied back saying transmission is great and he never had any issues with it. He also mentioned that the paint was perfect and that he had done nothing to i.

He eventually caught on to the emails and finally replied with a link showing our marriage asking if we were related lol.

I felt like asking how his wife's cancer was, but I really do not feel like getting too involved again. I am sure he still as our phone numbers and such.

He told me (before he figured out it was me) that the reserve is somewhere in the mid 20's.

Personally I think you are a complete douche bag but I went ahead and sent him a nasty email since I hate "those kind" more. Oh and I went ahead and asked for you about his wifes cancer.

To be honest, it's gotta be BS. I've seen too many buyers back out due to cancer. LOL

This! I've run into the exact same excuse from several Ebayers in the past.

I've gotten to where I hate Ebay and Paypal...had my Ebay acct jacked a few weeks back...they did catch it and took off the fees. However just last week someone now jacked my Paypal acct and attempted to buy a new Mac for ~$1600! Luckily I saw the "you sent money" email right when it came in and called Paypal right away. What's BS is that at first they said an investigation would take 7-10 days, and also that the auto funds transfer from my bank had already been initiated and there was no way they could stop it. I raised a bunch of hell about it and told them 7-10 days was not acceptable....it wasn't until then that they sped the process and confirmed within an hour that it was indeed a fraudulent charge. In the mean-time I transferred all but $20 out if that acct and called my bank to let them know what was going on.

Fast forward a couple days and I start getting insufficient funds alerts from Paypal! These pricks come back trying to tell me that the transfer has to complete before they can cancel it, so I need to ensure that I have the $1600 in my acct to cover the transfer....once done then I can just move it back!! WHAT?! Yeah right!

I told the lady from Paypal to go fuck herself....they might as well give that up b/c I put a block on Paypal with BOA...so they will NEVER have access to my acct. again.

All this to say....FUCK EBAY and PAYPAL!! It's not worth it.

I haven't really used paypal since $20 "disappeared" out of my linked checking account in 2004. My bank statement showed a paypal withdrawal, but there was no record of it on paypal.
