I unfortunately know exactly what you're goin through.
My mother passed last February after a long, painful fight with COPD. Smoke till the day she died. Several members on here knew her very well, she was an awesome lady.
Please please please keep in mind that it wasn't your fault. It's been over a year and I still beat myself up over it but it was her choice to smoke. Nothing you could do prevented this. Please cherish and remember every single solitary good moment that you had, and use the memory to strengthen your OWN resolve to avoid the same fate.

Sorry to hear that, hope things get better for you. All my family lives in Michigan and I dread the day I have to get that phone call, I don't know what I will do.
