  • Car transport from Plano to DeSoto

    Pm me a price if you got a truck and car hauler and a winch on it. I need to get a Vette from Plano to DeSoto. Its up off of 75 and Campbell area and I live off 20 and 35. I have a friend with a truck and trailer but the last Vette I hauled the trailer was a little taller then I would like and drug the bottom and exhaust. Car has brakes and rolls fine it just wont start. Something to do with the flywheel/or starter. It is an early 70's Vette.

    I got rid of the 82 because I didnt want to screw with the crossfire.

    Oh yeah Saturday say one.

        It is a normal car hauler. However, i also have use of my father in laws trailer with a dove tail and his sits lower. How much are you willing to pay?

          1.50 pm line haul for 32 miles = $48
          .43 FSC per mile - $13.76

          $61.76

            Meh, my time is worth more than that... got to take account for time to hitch trailer, time to PUSH car on trailer, strap down, un strap, push off, drive home, un hithc.. plus the liabaility of someone elses car.

            Ovilla-desoto-plano is roughly 45 miles one way. So double that =90 miles. Plug in 90 to your equations and I would do it haha.

            1.5 x 90= 135
            .43 x90=38.70

            total= 173.7

                        Wait, you said it has brakes right? Just hook a tow rope/chain to it and pull it, have someone in the car steering/braking it!

                        Don't forget to turn on the hazard's while doing it too.

                          You know I am no stranger to this method. Nothing like pulling home a 55 Chevy with terrible brakes behind a Blazer when I was a kid. Or we could use the certified south Dallas way of just pushing it home car on car.
