Come on now, we all know there's zero true regulations on guns in this country outside of the NFA world and what laws we do have are pathetically enforced.

When people constantly argue its not the gun it's the person doing the killing, why not argue the same for everything else? Instead of saying "Well for one thing those trucks jacked up 20 feet off the ground should be illegal in itself"? Same argument can go against guns and the rights everyone screams about.

      • I saw the truck on the news and I have seen a ton of trucks on the roads that are just as high if not higher around here all the time

        • The truck is about 15 feet off the ground and the dude is probably 5'5. Fucking ridiculous! There is no need for something that high. Waste of money! R.I.P to that girl.

I get one is a right and one is a privilege. But if your for regulation on one why not the other? In the end the results are the almost the same.
The difference is regulation for public safety, versus regulation for private use. I personally think that it should be perfectly legal to own whatever firearm or modified vehicle you so choose, but not to be used where either present a safety hazard to others. You can't set up targets wherever you want, nor should you be able to drive unsafe vehicles on public roads.

As he said, no law stops you from using it on non public roads.

David's argument is a fail to the tenth power.

So if the argument is for public safety vs. private use, then the argument would be for ammo and magazine restrictions. If the responsibility isnt to be held to the owner, then the owner should be limited to (insert here) in the interest of public safety. Especially if one chooses to carry in public.
