Damn. That would scare the shit out of me, too. Much more than a cat minding it's own business.

House cats and small dogs would be easy pickins for them though.
I thought most were rabid which is the main reason I wouldn't want them hanging around.

When people start building shit around animals natural habitats, you gotta expect to see a couple every now and then. It's not like they're a nocturnal creature like a racoon or something when if you DO see them during the day it's probably because they're rabid.

They wont do any harm, except to chickens. I live out in the country, so they are pretty common. I actually have a cat that is half bob cat. Funny as he is the most laid back, non aggressive cat that I have ever seen.

Break out the 22! There is a neighbors dog that keeps tearing up the trash. One day I will be taking my .308 to him. Btw the dog is a horse, great dane. The neighbor won't do anything about it either.

A bit of a over reaction, I think. Bobcats are pretty laid back. They don't see a grown adult as a viable food source and will disregard you as such. You leave it alone, and you'll get the same treatment in return.

Hell if I know? The way they were strung up it looks like somebody was going to clean them and eat them.

We string up coyotes like that on the fence.... Got about 8-10 of them right now. Might scare the rest off... Hopefully.

That looks just like a piece of land out between Eastland and Brownwood. Their fence was always decorated with coyotes too.
