I've got a friend with that combo, but she didn't know Pandora would work via bluetooth. Well, I got her to try that over the weekend and for the first 5 mins, she was happy...pure bliss. Since then, she's driven to work, etc and it cuts out frequently - meaning a half second drop of music about once or twice a minute. She has a 3G, so I was curious if it had to do with having a slower phone or that was common with the Ford Sync? I didn't try to sync my 3GS, but it would have been a good experiment. Does anyone have experience with this?

In regards to other programs in the background, she hasn't updated to iOS4 yet, so she doesn't have multiple programs running.

Unless it's been resolved since I quit, 4.0+ software for the iphone can screw sync up completely to where the module itself has to be reflashed. Almost every day I would have a customer come in and complain about it. Sometimes it would actually fry the module and would have to be replaced.
For the people asking why Ford doesn't fix it...it's an Apple problem. When sync came out, it was 100% compatible with Apple software, so something Apple did fucked it up."Any dog under 50lbs is a cat and cats are pointless." - Ron Swanson
