  • Is there a cheaper place to buy a MAC BOOK PRO other than the Apple Store?

Just wondering if any retailers online sold them cheaper than Apple or if all were the same price.

Apple pretty much has a stranglehold on retailers when it comes to pricing.

The answer to your question is. NO. Unless you buy it used on Ebay or Craigs List.
I think his point is that the fish got low balled, fucked in the catfish asshole and you paid half price. The worst part was the fish explaining to his fish friends why his asshole smelled like redneck

        macmall.com

They are usually about $100 or so less and they have no sales taxes. I've used them multiple times, they are very reputable.

Im shocked nobody said MICROCENTER in Richardson. They are always 100 dollars cheaper than any of the other Dallas retailers. Last summer I bought my 13" Macbook Pro for $999 plus tax. They had them at that price until at least December. They have the newest 13" MBP for $1099 with the i5 processor.

Should be a $100 discount, all you need is a .edu e-mail.

I don't even think I needed that on the website, I'm pretty sure I just selected UTA (that's where I graduated from) and bought it with my standard email address.

You still have to pay sales tax on the Apple website. That's a big reason MacMall is one of the cheaper ways to go..

I would look at the refurbs that Apple sells directly, otherwise as others have said, they are pretty strict about the pricing that retailers can offer.

Same warranty as new, AppleCare extended warranty available, etc.

If you don't want to pay tax's amazon sells them with legit apple sellers, and the macmall.com has them discounted as well. Both have excellent customer reviews, check em out.
