    Me, too!
Ok, can you show me how? I don't get shit for battery life. However, with a car charger and home charger, I never run out of battery-just sucks I have to keep it on charge all the time.
I have 4-5 batteries for my evo, if i ever see you at a get together and i have my spare in my wallet I'll give you one, I never use it anymore and whenever I do need it I forgot to charge it lol!

Pokulski- The lighter the rom in my experience, the longer the battery last.... I'm really loving cm7 and I'm running evervolv's version of it cause I like some of the ui tweaks. I didn't see that thread off hand but here is the regular CM7

CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone. THIS IS NOT HTC SENSE AND NEVER WILL BE. DO NOT ASK ABOUT IT IN THIS THREAD. THANK YOU. #include...

    found it, here is evervolv

Ladies and gentlemen I am glad to bring you the first ever gingerbread beta of Evervolv for the Evo 4G! First thing I would like to say is that this rom would not be possible without the CyanogenMod team. I am merely here to bring you how I like...

As far as settings go... if you're not using something, turn it off(except for data, can't believe tmobile jesus is turning that off to save battery), if I'm not using gps bluetooth wifi etc it is off, I have a power control widget on one of my screens, and use that when needed to adjust the brightness, turn off haptic feedback unless you absolutely need it, the little things really add up.

This last link will also advise you of a trick for charging your battery, after you do this, launch into recovery and clear your battery stats, then make sure it is still actually charging to 100%.

edit: also not everyone will have the same results with each rom, you may find one that works better for you

Love my EVO. Yes battery life can suck. With playing 2 to 3 30 minute sessions of Angry Birds in the can, plus 3 different email accounts pounding away at my phone all day, plus calls and using internet a ton...I can get 15 hours out of it. Unplug at 7 am, and have just enough juice to last until 10 pm that night...works for me...

Oh and I am using Fresh Evo 3.3.0.1 (Free Wi-Fi tether is the bomb). I pay $138.00 after taxes each month for both my Wife's EVO and my own for truly UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. I Wouldn't go to Apple for the iPhone if you paid me.

Unfortunately rooting your phone essentially destroys your 4G capabilities...I have updated my radios a bazillion times and have yet to get 4G connectivity.

You should be careful flashing radios and the like, doing things without reading about them first is how you lose your wimax keys. I am running a rom that doesn't have 4g but I have used 4g on plenty of roms. Just gingerbread doesn't have a stab
            le rom with it yet.

Also download setcpu, if you don't want to pay for it then use applanet and get it on their, you will have to experiment with the best settings but it's a very useful program

there is an app called wimax rsa key checker. you may have wiped your keys. rooting should not destroy 4g.

I am on cm7 and get 4g just fine on my evo.

I said network, not customer service. The service usually isn't that bad.

How does a service outage NOT have to deal with their network? Especially an outage in multiple cities? What the hell does customer service have to do with the actual service?

What are you talking about? You know tmobile and att have the same exact towers, right? Just different bands for 3g and 4g, edge is exactly the same. If tmobile towers somehow go down, it will automatically connect to the nearest tower, whether it be att or tmobile.
