I don't have Sprint, but the Samsung Epic would be my pick.

My girlfriend has the Epic and it sucks. Samsungs UI sucks. Their GPS reception sucks. The only thing good about the phone is the AMOLED screen.

There are a couple of fixes to get GPS running again but you shouldn't have to install 2 apps to get the shit to work.

I can get 30 hours out of the stock battery with decent usage including pandora/grooveshark while at the gym using bluetooth,etc.

Of course.... if you don't root your evo, the extended battery will definitely help

the only phone kyocera has on sprint right now is the zio, it is one of the biggest pieces of crap ever, kyocera doesn't know how to make a good smart phone, and now they're going to come out with a phone that has mid level hardware with two screens?

a) its going to run like crap
b) two screens.... twice as many screens to break

root your evo, if i still worked for sprint at a store i'd do it for you(i quit for more $$$).

Preferably flash a rom like CM7(cyanogenmod 7, gingerbread), or just root and run the stock rom, but uninstall all of the sprint bloatware you don't use(you can't uninstall it right now). Then its all in the settings.

Ok, can you show me how? I don't get shit for battery life. However, with a car charger and home charger, I never run out of battery-just sucks I have to keep it on charge all the time.
