        I just buy my meats each week and keep them sealed in bags in the fridge.

              That's disgusting, Danny.

              I don't see how you people get away with not freezing. Ground beef goes bad after 2-3 days in the fridge. Same with chicken and pork. Of course, it all depends on how long it was on the shelf at the grocery store as well. But I've bought steaks before, that didn't even keep until the next day before they spoiled.

                I vacuum seal all of our meats and thaw them out in warm or cold water while still sealed. Have never had any issues this way.
