    Japan Earthquake! Ok, I am gonna sound like a real dick here so get ready.

    I feel terrible for the Japanese people and wish them a rapid recovery. However, they are the 2nd largest economy in the world and the most technologically advanced nation. WHY are we already having fundraisers and donation drives here when a nation can take care of themselves ...it's Japan!!!

    Reminds me of Katrina when we couldn't get help out and the help we did get from our nation was a little too slow to respond but if its from another country were on that like its stink on shit.

                      Actually I think it is a fair question...

                      However the answer is quite simple. MOST American's are very generous. That's all there is to it. If we weren't, they wouldn't bother with the fund raising...

                          I agree. Donating makes a lot of people feel good about themselves. Disasters like this put the opportunity to donate in the spotlight.
