Nope. Too much encroachment into private decisions.

think it should be up to the bar. if i owned anything, i would make it non-smoking indoors with a patio outside where smoking was allowed.

              simple.

Seems simple enough. The infringement of rights is the issue. I agree with you though.

This is my favorite solution to the problem. I don't like going to bar areas that allow indoor smoking. I don't want to smell like your addiction

there was a time when that's how america worked.

when the fuck did we give local governments so much power but more importantly, how the fuck do we reclaim our rights from ourselves (them)?

As much as I dislike being around smoke, I personally feel the government has no business telling a restaurant/bar owner whether he should allow smoking or not. I would probably go to actual bars more often if they were smoke free.

Two options I see because once they have it you know they will run with it....

                            1. we revolt...that simple (see you in jail)

                            2. Get someone or persons in office that still belive in rights and seeing as smoking is not illegal it sure as hell might as well be...

I can't stand walking out of an establishment smelling like everyone else's bad habit. I too am a smoker but above all that I would rather not fucking smell like it.
