GRAND PRAIRIE — Police in Grand Prairie are looking for the driver of a van involved in a fatal accident with a motorcycle late Friday night.
Investigators said the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed just before 11 p.m. when it collided with the van in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Highway 161.
The driver of the cycle thrown off the bike, struck by another car and killed.
The driver of the van did not stop. Witnesses said it was an older model Dodge Ram with significant damage to the rear and a broken window on the right side. The first character on the van's license plate is believed to be a "T" or an "F."
A man, a woman and a teenage boy were said to be in the van.
The identity of the dead motorcyclist was not released.
