Good job Aaron! I was wondering about your last job after our last conversation.

I am in the same boat - my current job is good, and pays VERY good, but I am going no where. I just recently landed quite a bit of VERY good paying fab work (with the help of a fellow board member) that could really take me some where and potentially get my business kick started as well.

I have a couple ideas of spin-off business too, 2011 just may be the year for me to fly solo as well. Aaron, we'll meet at the top, brother.

I haven't decided whether or not we're going to do another color inside the red striping on the louvers. The frame is kind of a graphite/charcoal/dark silver color, so I thought of either doing that color inside the red on the louvers, or white.

They look great and yes, I'd go for the darker silver to off set the stripes. Looks AWESOME!

Good deal, Brooks ! I hope everything works out for you. With the kind of work you do, I know you'll do great ! The thing that made it an easy decision for me was they didn't pay me shit where I was at anyways, so it wasn't like I would be losing a whole lot !

That's what I was thinking. Since there's not really much white on the car, I was leaning towards the frame color, but my dad is leaning toward just leaving it red. When he gets it back from the upholstery shop I'm going to do a few of them with the dark silver and stand back and see how it looks.

Congrats man! The cream always rises to the top. There may be some tough days ahead, but it will be worth it in the end. I may have some work for you soon bud, and I still have this damned thing I need to get to you. Consider it a "getting started again" gift that I hope you can use.
