HAHA, speaking of that !!.....I did a little striping on dad's coupe today. Got all of the louvers striped, and got some striping done on the grille shell.

I haven't decided whether or not we're going to do another color inside the red striping on the louvers. The frame is kind of a graphite/charcoal/dark silver color, so I thought of either doing that color inside the red on the louvers, or white.

Either way, the striping on the louvers looks freakin' awesome, and my dad absolutely LOVES it !! He was sooooo excited !! By the way, it goes to the upholstery shop TOMORROW !!! Damn, I can't wait to drive it !!!

Yes, I applied last Wednesday. I am supposed to go back on the 23rd for the written mechanical assessment test. Depending on how busy I am and how my other side deals are going, I may or may not go back.

LOL, thanks buddy ! I don't care if I "hit the big times", I just want to do what I enjoy, and enjoy what I do. I have met some of the coolest people and some of my best friends because of pinstriping.

Here's a glass table top that I striped for a buddy of mine that owns a tattoo shop a few days ago. I striped the bottom side of it so he could set stuff on the top of it and not scratch the paint. I had to sign my name backwards since I was essentially striping the back side !

The table is made out of car parts too, btw. It's an old flywheel for the base, a camshaft is welded to the base and has 4 connecting rods welded to it, and the glass sits on the tops of the pistons. It's a pretty cool little table. I'll get some pictures of the whole table one day this week when I go back by there to do some more striping.

I've been making custom cakes. Orders have picked up over the last month or so. I should have my logo done by the end of the week. Next up are a facebook and website. I'm looking for something somewhat interactive, where people can submit quote requests or something of the like.

I can't believe how much of a weight has been lifted off my shoulders since last Thursday. I know there's going to be slow times, and money may be tight from time to time, but I'm going to make it work. I've been thinking about doing this for some time now, and I'm glad I finally took the last step.
