What to do in Los Angeles

Thanks for all the replies, We planned on going to venice(sp) beach but not much else planned. We would like to find somewhere kind of laid back to drink and listen to some live music. We are pretty simple and Im not sure how well we will fit it with our boots and jeans...lol

We may check out Petersen Automotive Museum if I can talk her into it. I guess if I just drive there, she wont have much of a choice
