    What to do in Los Angeles

    I will be in LA next weekend for a wedding. We will have all day Sunday to do whatever. Looking for ideas since I have never been out there and will probably never go back.

    LA Live is fun at night, there's a strip of bars down there. The beach.

    I can't remember the name of the place but have a California burrito when you're out there.

        Hit up some beach or rent a car and cruise PCH. Stay out of the downtown crap that can be seen/done in every major city. The Pacific Coast can make for some very romantic settings. Kinda fitting for a wedding visit. You'll definately get some scenery that you wouldn't get anywhere else. Just one day is tough to place a priority on anything, though.

                      I wasn't really that thrilled with petersons museum. The le brea tar pits were kind of interesting. Venice beach pier was kind of cool - you can forget finding parking anywhere along the beach itself though. Beverly hills/Hollywood is interesting to poke around in.

                        To bad you couldnt make a couple days out driving up hwy 1.

                        As long as you can get up before the winnebego bobs its a awesome drive. Alot of good hole in the wall places to eat as well.

                        My favorite is the spud point crab company in bodega bay.

                        I dont eat seafood as it it junk in the midwest. The fresh seafood out there is fucking awesome.

                              Go eat out at Neptune's Net on the Pch in Malibu, good atmosphere and a lot of movies filmed there
