Turn all that shit down, turn the screen to a reasonable brightness and turn the sensor off, and there's no reason you shouldn't get a day of use out of your phone. I can surf all day and send hundreds of texts and only be at ~30% when i get in for the night.

My buddy has had a lot of0 android phones and still complains about his battery life on all of them. And they aren't nearly as responsive as my iphone 4. We went to lunch and with it in sleep mode it was at 89% by the time we got done eating which was about 45min his phone went down to 80%. In sleep mode!! (Galaxy S)

I would suggest waiting until march to upgrade if you can, that is what I am doing because that is when ATT expects to have their 4g online, and if you decide iphone thats when apple will release a 4g iphone, but if att stays competitive, the 4g droid phone will have a mobile hotspot built in with unlimited data for upto 5 wifi connections.

I'm in the same boat, I've had an upgrade on my phone since Jan and havent used it cause I'm not sold on the iphone4... Unless AT&T comes out with a better phone I'll just stick to my 3g... The capivate did impress me this weekend with it's color and look, just don't know how good it works...

i love mine works great, havent rebooted it since i got it two weeks ago, the battery life is not an issue for me at all, and the color compared to the iphone was a huge difference, probably one of the bigger selling factors for me was the clearer image
