Stop listening (and being) such an iCommie loyalist.

Also, when i'm browsing the web, or using it to remote to my home computer from anywhere i have a 3g/4g/wifi signal, i'd much rather use a 4.3 (or 4 in the case of the galaxy) inch screen instead of a small (but pretty) 3.5 screen.

Samsung is ok but it reboots itself a lot. They also need plutonium power generators if you use them much.

How can you even compare Android and iPhone sales? That is like saying Ford sold more vehicles then the Camaro.

Loyalty is also higher in iPhone owners, 89% compared to Droids 71%

I think it's typically the HTC's that have a battery life problem. I know I had one for a few months and it would not go a full day on one charge no matter how little I used it.

I'd say that Android will eventually become the "Google" of mobile phone software. Microsoft still makes some awesome products but they don't really have the same cutting-edge, innovative image that Google does. Yes, I know that Android is a Google project/product.

I think eventually Apple will have to open up iOS development beyond just Macintosh machines. As Android grows its base, with support across all computer platforms, iOS develoers are going to (continue to) jump away from OS X and those turds XCode and Objective-C

Great marketing for a very good product. It's not junk, but it's no longer the undisputed greates evar.

Fine. Phones with the Android operating system are outselling phones with the iPhone operating system. Fair enough?

Or did he dump Sprint for AT&T/T-Mobile?

My iPhone 3GS sucks the battery down in 8 hours if I leave it on 3G; it doesn't last more than 3 if I'm streaming Internet radio.

Funny that you bumped this, Tony. I just overclocked(and lowered voltages) my shitty android phone, and as of yesterday the battery lasted over 36 hours, lol. Switched it over to HSUPA, too.

No way. I have had a few HTC phones and they're one of the best. Beats the shit out of a LOT of the other manufacturers.

I'm going to start doing more Android development and need to pick up a "new" phone so I was looking at the Captivate.

They're alright. I've had hardware issues with both Samsung and HTC phones, though. Sim card stopped reading on my old tilt, wasn't even worth fixing. My gf had a Samsung phone, the cpu went bad in it, she got a replacement phone free and had another phone she used. I got the replacement phone when my tilt fucked up, the touch screen stopped working, but I remembered the other one's touch screen worked still. So, I did some frankensteining and got that shit working good, lol. Oh, and then my gf got water on it like a week later and ruined it. Awesome. Haven't had any issues with the captivate, though.

I am really happy with my Android phone and highly doubt I would ever own an iPhone.
